Your digital record
Keep useful evidence of learning, services, experience, skills and achievements in one secure place.
RecordForLife helps young people carry their progress across organisations instead of starting again at every programme. Build one secure record, choose what you share, connect services and achievements to your journey, and use that foundation to make future transitions smarter.
Keep useful evidence of learning, services, experience, skills and achievements in one secure place.
Create a QR or link, choose what is included, set limits and stop sharing when you need to.
Use your record in a guided CV, include selected credentials and carry verified progress into the next opportunity.
Discover services now, with a pathway model designed to connect future recommendations to real demand.
Education, training, referrals, work experience and support are often spread across different organisations and systems. That can create repeated forms, repeated assessments and weak handovers. RecordForLife changes the focus from the programme to the person, creating a connected record that can support the whole transition journey.
Keep useful information and evidence together so every new provider does not need to start from zero.
Share the right information with the right organisation and keep referrals, participation and progress connected.
Connect services and skills development to the opportunities and demand that can shape a realistic next step.
The platform is designed to make every step understandable on a phone, from registration and secure sharing to programme participation and evidence you can use again.
Register with the essentials, verify your email and complete your profile over time.
Add education, credentials, capabilities, work, services and other evidence that matters to your journey.
Create a QR or secure link and review exactly what will be shared, why, for how long and with whom.
Approved organisations can record agreed participation, attendance, completion, certificates, referrals and other progress.
Find services, build a CV and carry verified progress into future learning, work and support opportunities.
The current platform already supports participant-controlled records, sharing, organisational delivery and programme evidence. This creates the practical base for a wider cooperative pathway network.
Keep a longitudinal record of education, credentials, capabilities, work, services, referrals, documents and experience.
Share basic, selected or fuller information with clear purpose, expiry, sensitivity and view controls, with revoke and rotate options.
Choose a goal, contact details and evidence from your record, then create an accessible PDF CV without publishing everything.
Search published services by useful filters and connect the record to the support and opportunities available around you.
Participating organisations can manage programmes, enrolment, attendance, completion, certificates and approved write-backs.
Keep handovers connected, see where records came from and use a visible correction process instead of silently changing history.
RecordForLife is designed around a simple principle: a digital record is useful only if people can trust how it is protected and who can see it. The current platform combines participant control with layered technical safeguards.
Accounts use a password followed by a time-limited email security code. Sessions are protected and time out after inactivity.
Organisations do not receive a full profile by default. Access is limited by approved purpose, information, programme rules and expiry.
QR images are generated inside RecordForLife. Permanent QR links are signed, can be rotated or revoked, and sensitive shares can expire or have view limits.
HTTPS is enforced and the platform uses secure cookies and browser protections such as HSTS, Content Security Policy and anti-framing controls.
Role, participant and organisation boundaries are checked on the server. Uploads are validated, stored in protected locations and only released through authorised routes.
Important actions are audited. Sign-in attempts are throttled, sensitive changes are recorded and administrators have a privacy-preserving security overview.
RecordForLife continues to pair product security with privacy, POPIA, safeguarding, penetration testing, backup and recovery, incident response and controlled release checks.
RecordForLife turns separate programme interactions into a record you can use again. You decide what to share, while trusted evidence can build up as you learn, work and access support.
Review the recipient, purpose, information, sensitivity, attachments and limits before creating a share.
View your records, permissions and transactions, including information contributed by participating organisations.
Use selected records, certificates and achievements in your CV and future applications.
Share selected information securely.
Your personal information is not stored in the QR image. A share opens only the information you selected. Active links can expire, be limited, revoked or rotated, and sensitive information needs clearer confirmation.
Share the information needed for the interaction instead of handing over your whole record.
Organisation relationships show what is requested, why it is needed and what agreed programme information may be written back.
Access, permissions, programme events and corrections are recorded so the journey remains understandable.
Each trusted partner can add a useful part of the story within the permission agreed with the young person. That helps the next transition start with context instead of another blank page.
Information you provide, or that is verified for you, such as education, location, skills, interests and contact details.
Qualifications, programme certificates, completed learning and other evidence you can carry into the next opportunity.
A secure history of services, referrals, participation, attendance, completion, work and support received along the way.
RecordForLife is intended as a cooperative pathway layer rather than another closed programme database. Partners can keep their own systems while connecting relevant records, programme evidence, referrals and service information around a young person-controlled journey.
The next step is to widen that network: more civil-society services, stronger referral pathways, employer and sector demand data, and shared learning about what helps young people successfully move from one stage to the next.
The core record and programme journeys are in place. The next value comes from connecting more partners, more service data and real demand signals.
Understand what is available today, how sharing is protected and where the cooperative pathway model is heading next.
RecordForLife is a secure digital record and pathway platform for young people. It helps you keep your education, services, achievements, experience and other useful parts of your journey in one place and share them on your terms.
Participants can build a personal record, create controlled QR or link shares, manage permissions, see access and transaction history, find services, build a CV and use verified programme evidence. Participating organisations can onboard people with approval, manage programmes, record attendance and completion, issue certificates, make referrals and contribute approved records.
The platform uses password plus email-code sign-in, HTTPS, secure browser protections, role and organisation boundaries, participant-controlled permissions, expiring and revocable shares, locally generated QR codes, protected uploads, rate limiting and audit history. Access is limited to the information a participant has approved.
Your personal information is not stored inside the QR image. RecordForLife generates QR codes locally and uses secure, revocable links to connect a scan to the information you have chosen to share.
Yes. Active shares can expire, have view limits, or be revoked. Permanent participant and organisation QR links can also be rotated or revoked so an old link no longer works.
Approved organisations can add information only within the permissions and programme rules that apply to your relationship with them. The platform keeps the source and history so you can see where information came from and request a correction if needed.
RecordForLife is intended as shared pathway infrastructure shaped with multiple partners. Civil-society organisations, service providers, employers, funders, government, training providers and technology partners can contribute to a connected ecosystem while the young person remains at the centre.
The next layer will combine the young person’s journey with service and demand data. It can consider who they are, what they have done, where they are, what support or skills they need and where real opportunity exists, then suggest useful next steps that can adapt over time.
Yes. The current platform includes a searchable services directory. The wider vision is to connect that supply of services with demand information such as employer needs, jobs, sector skills demand and local opportunities.
Partners can contribute services, referrals, programme pathways, demand information, technology connections, funding, research, governance or youth-facing implementation. RecordForLife is inviting partners to help grow and shape the cooperative network.
RecordForLife becomes more valuable when multiple partners contribute different parts of the transition journey. We are inviting civil-society organisations, employers, training providers, government, funders, technology platforms and research partners to connect, pilot and shape the model together.
We are looking for partners who can contribute services, referrals, skills pathways, employer or sector demand, technology connections, funding, research, governance or youth-facing implementation.
The cooperative model is about connecting useful information and handovers around the young person. Talk to us about becoming a partner, integrating a service or demand dataset, or piloting RecordForLife with your programme.
